On behalf of the Organizing Committee and in collaboration with the Korean Society of Pediatric Infectious Diseases (KSPID), it is our great pleasure to invite you to the 10th Asian Congress of Pediatric Infectious Diseases (ACPID) which will be held in Seoul, Korea from October 26th to 28th, 2022.
The congress, initially scheduled to be held on site in Seoul in October 2020, was inevitably postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Although we all hoped for a quick return to pre-COVID normality, today - after more than two years - our lives and plans are still influenced by the pandemic. Therefore, with some regret but optimistic determination, the ACPID 2022 Organizing Committee has come to the decision to hold the congress as a hybrid event (in-person and virtual). With the technical advances and virtual tools developed during the pandemic, we believe the congress will provide a valuable opportunity for our colleagues in many countries to come together on-site and online.
ACPID has become one of the most prominent and anticipated events for experts in the field of pediatric infectious diseases in Asia. The scientific program this year will explore the most critical issues in the field, with experts throughout the world making this congress a stimulating arena for in-depth discussion on recent advances.
The ACPID 2022 Organizing Committee and members of KSPID are committed to making the congress a memorable experience. Please join us for an outstanding scientific meeting that will enrich all participants’ knowledge and enhance the diagnosis, prevention and treatment of pediatric infectious diseases for all children.
We would also like to take this opportunity to thank all our colleagues around the world who have been working so hard to combat COVID-19.
